This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used on autopilotbusiness.co.uk. The site is run by Ecom Giant Retail Limited, trading as Autopilot, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15545138). Registered office: 704 Skylines Plaza, Alencon Link, Basingstoke RG21 7AY. Questions: [email protected].
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. "Similar technologies" do the same job in other ways, for example your browser's local storage, or scripts that read information from your device. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, "PECR") treats them all the same way, so we call them all "cookies" here.
Some cookies are strictly necessary for a website to work or stay secure, and don't need your consent. Others, such as analytics cookies, need your consent unless a legal exception applies.
2. Who sets cookies on our site
Our website is built and hosted on HighLevel (HighLevel, Inc., also trading as LeadConnector). HighLevel's hosting runs behind Cloudflare. The cookies below come from HighLevel's and Cloudflare's standard code, which runs on every HighLevel website. We don't add any advertising or social-media trackers of our own.
3. Your choices
When you first visit, a small cookie banner offers "Accept all" and "Essential only". At the moment we don't add any analytics of our own, so your choice doesn't change what's set. If we ever add our own analytics or marketing tools, they'll only run if you choose "Accept all".
Please note: our website platform, HighLevel, sets one cookie (msgsndr_id) and some browser storage when a page loads, before you make a choice, and keeps them whichever option you pick. It also records a page view against that ID. We can't switch this off in HighLevel's settings. We've asked HighLevel whether these can be held back until you consent, and we'll update this notice if they can. Until then, you can avoid them by blocking cookies and site data for autopilotbusiness.co.uk in your browser (the site still works), or by clearing them after your visit. You can also object by emailing [email protected].
You can change your banner choice at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page, or by clearing the cookies and site data for autopilotbusiness.co.uk in your browser. We'll then ask you again.
4. Cookies and storage on our site
We last checked the cookies on our live site on 29 September 2026.
Strictly necessary
| Name | Set by | Type | How long | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare, on www.autopilotbusiness.co.uk | Cookie | 30 minutes | Tells real visitors apart from bots, to protect the site from attacks |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare, on filesafe.space (HighLevel's image service) | Third-party cookie | 30 minutes | The same bot protection, for the service that serves our images |
cookie-config |
HighLevel, on www.autopilotbusiness.co.uk | Cookie | 6 months (per HighLevel) | Remembers your banner choice |
Set by our website platform before you choose (see section 3)
| Name | Set by | Type | How long | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
msgsndr_id |
HighLevel, on www.autopilotbusiness.co.uk | Cookie | 1 year | A random ID that recognises your browser on later visits. HighLevel uses it to count visitors and page views (including time on page and scroll depth) and, if you later fill in a form, use a chat or book a call, to link your visits to your enquiry in our CRM. |
v3_first_session_event_… |
HighLevel | Local storage | Until you clear it (the data inside expires after 30 minutes) | Remembers how you first arrived: the referring website, any campaign tags in the link, and the first page you saw |
v2_history_… and v2_session_history_… |
HighLevel | Local storage | Until you clear it (the data inside expires after 30 minutes) | A list of your visits to our pages, used for visit statistics and enquiry linking |
v2_contact_session_…_session_id |
HighLevel | Local storage | 30 minutes | Groups the pages you view into one visit |
ghl_geo_country_v1 |
HighLevel | Session storage | 5 minutes | Your country, worked out from your IP address |
Whatever you choose on the banner, HighLevel also sends a record of each page view to HighLevel: the page, the referring site, your visitor ID, time on page and how far down you scrolled. HighLevel acts as our processor for this data. See section 4 of our Privacy notice.
Other technologies that don't set cookies
| Service | Provider | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Page-speed measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics) | Cloudflare, as part of HighLevel's hosting | A script from static.cloudflareinsights.com measures how fast the page loaded and sends the timings, the page address and your browser type to Cloudflare. It uses no cookie or local storage and only produces overall page-speed statistics. We can't switch it off for individual visitors. If you'd rather it didn't run, block static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser or a content blocker. The site will still work. |
| Email address protection | Cloudflare, as part of HighLevel's hosting | A small script decodes our email address on the page so spam robots can't read it. No cookie. |
| Google Fonts | Your browser downloads the site's fonts from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. No cookie. If you'd rather this didn't happen, block fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com in your browser. The site will then show in a standard font. |
We don't use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok or LinkedIn tags, advertising cookies or social-media widgets on our site.
5. Booking calendar, forms and chat
If we add a HighLevel booking calendar, enquiry form or chat to our site, it may set extra cookies or local storage to make it work, for example to remember what you've typed or to check you're not a robot (Google reCAPTCHA). We'll update this notice, and our banner, before we add them.
6. Payments (Stripe)
Once Stripe checkout is in use, Stripe will set the cookies below, on the checkout pages only. They aren't set anywhere on our site until then.
| Name | Set by | Type | How long | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__stripe_mid |
Stripe | Cookie | 1 year | Fraud prevention: helps Stripe assess the risk of an attempted payment |
__stripe_sid |
Stripe | Cookie | 30 minutes | Fraud prevention: helps Stripe assess the risk of an attempted payment |
These are strictly necessary to process your payment securely and prevent fraud, so they don't need consent. Stripe processes payments for us and is also an independent controller for its own fraud checks. The names and durations above are the ones Stripe publishes; we'll check them on our live checkout pages and update this notice if they differ. If Stripe marketing cookies were ever used on our site, they'd only run if you choose "Accept all".
7. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary Cloudflare cookie, parts of the site may not work. Guides: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
More about cookies in general: ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.
8. More information
Our Privacy notice explains how we use personal data, who we share it with, and your rights, including how to complain. We'll update this cookie notice whenever the cookies on our site change.
